Softline UK helps partners transition to online trading

Softline UK helped its partners across the UK transition, build and launch online sales. According to Chris Herovitsch of Softline, the company has been trading with Amazon and Ebay for many years, so the growth of online business gave them the capability to support many of their retail customers to change to online trading effectively.

Offering sales, distribution and 3PL services, Softline took significant precautions throughout its logistics processes, with quarantine areas for incoming products. Herovitsch added, “We have introduced different ways to despatch both bulk and individual goods. Our staff now work in protected bubbles to limit the possibility of cross contamination.”

Softline is optimistic that with vaccinations becoming widespread, some form of normality can return to trading across all areas in 2021.

Softline attended the first Retail Connect and are in discussions with potential partners they connected at the online event. Herovitsch is looking forward to a good selection of vendors representing products across a variety of categories.

He pointed out, “ The format of Channel Hub’s Retail Connect is excellent. It allows for the necessary research ahead of the event to choose the correct meetings and make time for viewing relevant presentations. The way meetings are scheduled ensures maximum efficiency for the time spent with new potential partners.”

Retail Connect returns online from 2-4 March 2021 to connect around 490 participants from 70 countries across the EMEA region that include buyers (retailers, distributors) sellers, media and partners in the consumer technology and smart home sectors.
